Cartegena

Cartegena is about a half an hour drive from La Torre and is well worth a visit the town dates back to Roman times and has an ampitheatre that is under excavation and restoration

 

 

 

 

 

The town itself is built around a natural harbour that has a naval history dating back centuries and is a pleasant place to relax amid the more pleasure craft these days. There is a boat trip around the harbour.

 

 

 

 

Murcia Old Town

The old part of Murcia - sign posted Murcia central from the N-301 is well worth a visit there is an under ground car park less than 1/4 mile from the N-301 junction which leads you to a stunning Plaza and cathedral called Plaza del Cardenal Belluga
